Brendalee is a versatile artist who infuses her work with a unique blend of humour and creative flair. Her journey began with silver jewelry-making, but since moving to Gabriola, known as the Isle of the Arts, she has explored a diverse range of artistic pursuits. These include creating witty and irreverent greeting cards, designing engaging colouring books for both children and adults who appreciate a touch of attitude, and creating abstract and ink watercolour paintings.

Brendalee's work reflects her creative personality and her belief in the power of art to bring joy and self-expression to people's lives. She finds satisfaction in the creative process, from conceptualizing new ideas to witnessing the final result.

Committed to giving back to the island that has supported her artistic journey, Brendalee actively participates in the community through various events and organizations.

Brendalee would like to acknowledge that she is gratefully living and creating on the unceded traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, whose presence here reaches back to time immemorial.
